Colleen Coble has sold over 2 million novels worldwide. "Seagrass Pier," the third installment in her acclaimed Hope Beach series, marks a new highpoint for emotion and complexity in Coble’s addictive brand of romantic suspense.
MY REVIEW OF THIS BOOK: I must admit that I am not a big fan of series and novella, but then again I think reading this book has changed my mind.
Sarah was tired of the celebrations commemorating the end of the Civil War. She was ready to stay at home and spend some time with her dying father. Friends and family was pushing her to go and have fun. Her father and brother were pushing for her to move past her grief and get on with her life and wanted her to be with someone that she does not and will not love.
What happens when you lose your one true love? Can you move on with your life with someone that you have no feelings for? Is wealth and recognition more important than a life filled with love and a good character? What happens when someone that is suppose to love you and only to find out they have have been dishonest and committed the ultimate betrayal? Can someone rise from the dead? Will Sarah and Rand be together or will the lies of Ben Coftner split them apart? You will have to read the series to find out the answer these questions.
I see these mini-series type of one novel an excellent opportunity for people who don't have time to sit down and read a full length novel, but has time for a Novella or a Mini-Series.
